Aries Music Global (AMG) is a dynamic music consultancy company that aims to be the pillar of promoting and marketing music of various artists’ talents to the global scale.
Established in 2010, under the name Aries Music Consultancy, the company successfully re-branded its identity in 2012, presented as Aries Music Global or AMG for short, expanding its services to reach artists and new talents beyond the UK. Its’ founder Akua Afram, a London born of Ghanaian descent, presents her the unique ability to understand the international music scene.
To date, AMG, has cleared music rights for Hollywood films such as, ‘I Am Legend’ (starring Will Smith 20th Century Fox), Lynx, Blue Mountain Publishing, worked with Urban Development (artist development organisation), EMI artist Mpho and MCPS/PRS for Music (UK’s official Music Licensing/Copyright body). Previously, Akua managed international and MOBO award winning artist Rhian Benson who released her 2nd album “Hands Clean in Feb 2011 and independent artist Iman now managed under SEG International.
Founder Akua Afram, also uses her skills to impart valuable knowledge in teaching various accredited Music Business and Live Events Apprenticeship courses to 16-24yr olds who have keen interest in music business at DV8 Training, London.
Akua has worked with global brands such as; Vodafone, River Island, Giant Step, as well as a number of respected international indie artists. a close alliance with international brands such as; Vodafone, SoundCloud, World Bank, Giant Step, Through Unity Charity, and great links to educational institutions including the LSE (London School of Economics) and UEL (University of East London).
AMG core strengths lies in its extensive music knowledge, publishing, marketing and education, coupled with its credible industry affiliations, making the company an indispensable player in the industry.
